Well as most may know, I’m into photography… Thus I just purchase a 2nd hand camera from my friend Ernest. The Canon PowerShort G3. Well after experiencing with the camera, I really hope for a higher capability camera. But it is beyond my reach!! I must spend RM6K-7K to get the whole set complete!!

The world of photography just open up for me when I found FlickR. It helped me in extending my ideas no the world of photography. This blog was originally to post my picture and tell you people about my world through my picture…… but it end up…..

A place where I could share my picture with every one!! A place where I can find people with the same passion.

Family Camp ‘06

Thanks to God who made this camp a success where He has shown himself to us all his mercy, grace and His perfect will for us if we only willing to follow Him and carry the cross!!

Well it took me some time to figure what to write on this subject after I came back from camp. This was a 3 days 2night camp which is situated at Malaysia’s 2nd tallest mountain, Bukit Larut a.k.a. Maxwell Hill. Some of the committee of the camp didn’t get to sleep as early as their usual time as to finalise the camp’s every detail. Of cause except for Derrick who is use to sleep at 5-6am at night!! Amazing it sounds most of us did manage to wake up for the 9am class except for Sui Ying!!

Anyway after having our usual Friday prayer meeting at café Lembaran & had our lunch. The bus was there to pick us up! Wawawa… God was really there, no 1 was left behind, not even Nicholas Saw who was delay because of his class. It’s true in the bible when it says God will not leave even 1 soul to get perish. The journey there for most is kind of boring because there were only 24 of us in the bus and the rest on the van. It was a good time for most to get the sleep they need before we start our camp!!

After a 1 hour bus ride to from campus we reach the foothill. Well, right always we were ask to put our stuff on the back of the jeep. For some who don’t know Maxwell hill has 72 sharp turns. I can tell you, the drivers are really skilled, every turns they execute with precision for the speed they were driving at. The driver who I was talking to on the way up was a very kind person who kindly shears his knowledge to us all!! Well half an hour us was not there is, a 5 minute hike up to “The Nest” which is the camp site to complete our journey.

I also learn some photography skill from Uncle Chun Chong who is a pro in this area!! Thanks You!!!

The food for all the 3days of our camp rock!! Better then the food that you could find in campus!! Wawawa….

Reading the bible is not an easy thing for me as I keep fails to turn up on a date with God every morning and before I sleep. This camp also really taught me how to share my burden with other people. As those who know me will know what I’m talking about!! Wawawa… It’s not easy for me to do so as I’m used to this kind of lifestyle!! I’m learning to be the best in what I have and doing the best for God in everything that I’m doing…. Lagi-lagi my studies!! Wawawawa….. At times I might look very happy but there is hurt in me that I’m not willing to let go… Thanks God for this Camp which I name this experience as a Reminder!! As I have learn this thing from the previous camp but I didn’t follow it!! It’s a calling to go back to God for me.

As I was back in campus, I down with fever!! Well to date it turns on and off and on again!! Don’t know when it will end!! Feel like flying every time when I walk!! Wawawawaw…. Anyway thanks to all the people who joint this camp and I pray that all of you will not just take this camp as a normal camp but as a turning point in life to be right with God again!!

With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility

Last weekend, the package my father send to me containing a digital camera that I bought from Ernest deliver by DHL arrive on my hand (*few…. That was some mouth full….). I’m thankful 1st to my father who send me the camera which cost him RM100 to do so, thanks to Bernard who send the charger to my house and not forgetting The Father in Heaven who let me have this camera!! The reason for the rush to get the camera is because the CF Family Camp in Maxwell Hill is on the coming weekend.

During my PALAPES break time,
I rip open the seal to the package and took the camera out for a try!! Well… like what they say in the movie Spiderman “with great power, comes great responsibility”. Well I got to work up on the manual controls of the camera so to get the “feel”.

This is the camera that I got… The Canon G3!!

Sui Ying's House.

Some week ago, me & Aaron had the chance to visit Sui Ying’s house in Penang Island (Where else??). Anyway we followed her back to her house because she wanted to return her car for some reason.

Knowing Penang Island is a small and pack area, it was suprising to me to find a nice house sitting on the hillside (something like those house you would find in Bangsar KL with split level houses). At 1st glance of the house the only thing I could say is Wow!!! That is before I went in her house!! Really nice house she has, those house that I wanted in the future (ok.. by this time she would say “is not my house”…. Technically is her dad’s la….)

When we went in, it feels really like home!! The feeling of togetherness and unity among family members were there!! How I wish my house back in KL would be like this… Sad to say my house is full of books. School books!!!

Anyway we went back with Christina to campus after we had done some shopping for Yen Wai’s birthday present.

This is the living hall

Compare to the house’s living hall. See the different??

Well Aaron with his “wow” look.

December Baby!!

Well as a Christian we are not suppose to look (or rely) at stuff such as luck, palm reading & not mentioning astrology. But the bible told us to rely on Him alone. That is why he send His Holy Spirit to guide us in every step we make!! Plus I always tell this to my friends that in Roman 8:28 it says “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (KJV). The reason he don’t tell us our future is so that we rely on Him. This fact is always hard to accept for me, “lagi-lagi” after the love sick issue!! Anyway, I’ve not really recover from the sadness that I’ve been through (this is the 1st time I felt the “blow” from a love issue). That is why I didn’t blog for some time!!

I took this from an e-mail that has been send to me by a friend that describes a person’s character which is born in a particular month… Since I’m a December baby this is what the e-mail describe me..

This straight-up means you are the most good-looking person possible... Better than all of these other months! Loyal and generous. Patriotic. Competitive in everything. Active in games and interactions. Impatient and hasty. Ambitious. Influential in organizations. Fun to be with. Easy to talk to, though hard to understand. Thinks far with vision, yet complicated to know. Easily influenced by kindness. Polite and soft-spoken. Having lots of ideas. Sensitive. Active mind. Hesitating tends to delay. Choosy and always wants the best. Temperamental. Funny and humorous. Loves to joke. Good debating skills. Has that someone always on his/her mind. Talkative. Daydreamer. Friendly. Knows how to make friends. Abiding. Able to show character. One guy/girl kind of person. Loveable. Easily hurt. Prone to getting colds. Loves music. Pretty/handsome. Loves to dress up. Easily bored. Fussy. Seldom shows emotions. Takes time to recover when hurt. Sensitive.”

This description describe me the best, except the good looking part…. I find the hard to understand part very true because most of the time when I’m trying to explain some thing I end up confusing the person even more!

Well most of the time this kind of e-mail will end up by asking you to send to some number of people & and you will meet your love life (which I never send). Plus, these kinds of description are mostly general so you would mostly find the statements given are true… If you don’t trust me go ask those who are doing psychology.

Love Sick or is it??

Before all I’m really thankful to God in this confusion, where He reminded me of the bible study that our CF did before the holidays. To put him 1st in everything, to focus on Him.

Hope you readers could help me in this area of love… Ya you all heard me right!! Hope you all could post in some suggestion or so (it is better of base on the bible)…

Anyway to start off with the confusion of mind, today (which is my 1st day of class after the holidays… or that is I we all say “holiday”) I got to know that this girl, GG (cool name for a girl right??) that I was very interested in (the girl which I prayed really hard to God asking if GG is THE ONE, The girl whom I’ve dream of having a future together!!) got very close to another guy which have feelings for GG (ok… in short term, I found myself a “rival”) in a gathering lately. One of my friend told me that they were very close together, once look as if there is something going on between them and my friend insisted that this guy has started making the “move” on GG and the GG seems to take it "at ease" (well I don’t blame her). I was filled with the broken parts of my heart as I heard the news and did not pay attention in yesterday’s class (that is before God reminded me) & some of the advice that I have get from my fellow friends.

The confusing part is that, what is my next action? Should I go for her to “take on my rival”? Or should I fallback and let them be happily ever after??

Can I have the mentality of “I really don’t mind if GG is with him (whom I consider to be a strong Christian with still more to learn… I’m not judging a book by it cover ok) provided GG is happy.”? Or go after her? Would it consider as selfish if I go after her? What about the guy? What does the bible or you would say about this?

COD Cash on delivery!!

Well I went out the whole day during Merdeka day…. Not to see the marching at Dataran Merdeka but went to get a new phone that is the Sony Ericsson K750i for Yen Wai from Nigle who had put on a good offer on the internet… (Well I’m like the middle man… Wawaawa! ) Well thanks to Ernest and also God, the whole thing went as planed!! One think I like to say about Sony Ericsson phone, that they are very “clear”… the LCD!! And I only found out how useful is to have a camera phone on standby without having to bring my big Canon Power Shot A400 around!! A camera on a mobile phone is surly a plus but not a need la…. I guess I have to stick with my old N-Gage!! Wawawawawa…..!

Then later I got to sit down at Starbucks at KL Central & got to chat with Ernest after a long time of not seeing him!! Then we went to his house to take his ice box (why?? You will find out later…). After that we then head up to Mid Valley but before that we stop my one of his friend to pick up his friend whose name is April.

People Mountain People Sea which means jam pack in Chinese can be describes when we were at the shopping complex!! Ya... Ernest wanted to buy ice cream (Ahhh…. that is why he needs his ice box) from Basket Robbins where the queue was so long as if no need money to buy!! Here I put the K750i’s camera to the test…. (Sounds like those people who review cameras!! Cool!! Wawawaw!!)

This is the Sony Ericsson K750i set

People Mountain People Sea”.

You get what I mean by “queue was so long as if no need money to buy!!”

What a good day for the neon light to “go off”. Is it Rawberry or Strawberry?? Confusing...

Umm… I think after testing it…. I rather carry a big load & get a better picture quality with my big A400 than to the K750i… But it is still a plus is my n-Gage have a build in camera!!

Thanks God for He had safely brought me through the day!! Lagi-lagi this is the 1st time doing COD Cash on delivery!!

Merdeka!!

Well is our country’s 49th birthday!! HAPPY birthday to you- HAPPY birthday to you-MALAYSIA!! Wawaawawawawa!! After years of going to KLCC to watch the amazing fire work display (Never fail to amaze me every year…That is why I put the word “amazing” there…) But this year, our family did not go to watch the 15minute fire work (suppose to show our country’s wealth has...Wawaa…Just kidding…I have to be careful of what I say in my post so not to raise any issues).

With the zeal of independent day in our heart, see what we were doing as the clock hit 12!!

With Astro mum & auntie are watching Merdeka celebration live from KLCC on TV.

Dad, bro & sis pula was stuck with a Korean movie entitle Taegukgi(aka Korean version of Saving Privet Ryanon NTV7)(What is that got to do with Merdeka??)

Well for me I’m stuck with the internet!!! So one could see how unique our family celebrate Merdeka as the clock strike 12.

Happy Merdeka!!

Back

Well after knowing that the Chinese CF has enough helpers in the game that they were planning for their camp that is going last for 3 days at Stella Merits (I don’t know how it spell k!?) in Penang Island (28-29/8/06).

I was right away feeling with a mix confusion of feelings. Happy because I was able to go back home which I really miss and it’s very boring in campus because I can’t go out as I like since I don’t have a motor licence. On the other hand, sad because I don’t think I would do anything back at home plus I can’t enjoy Penang alone. Wawawaawaw!

On the 28/9/06 I was on my way back home after treating Hong & Lim who took me to the bus station and THANKS God… I got a ticket!! Hop on the bus as it reaches the bust station at 11:15am. As the bus pass through the city as to get to Pudu Bust Station and the time was 4pm (I was stuck in a jam for 30minutes... What a good welcoming present !!?!) I saw a lot of changes in the city of Kuala Lumpur since the last time I left her 2 months ago. I really hope I could make use of this week at home because I’m going back to campus on the 3rd Sep. Wawawawawa!!

Ah^ the busy city life. It’s the 49th Merdeka also!!

You won’t see this in a small town of Parit Buntar or even Nibung tebal.

Since they don’t call STAR LRT any more this days & replace by Rapid KL.
What is that??What used to be a space land, now building are going to sit on it.

Home sweet home!!

Well, I used up my whole day to get my computer Conner to look new again!!

THE SUBJECT OF ARROGANCE

I got this from a discussion that was going on at Datuk Lim Kit Siang’s Blog (ok I’m no politic guy... I read this kind of blog to get the story from both sides on a particular issue that is happening around... Wawaawawaw….). I find it really interesting and would like to share it with all of you reader…

A Master and Disciple are next to a waterfall observing the scenery…

Disciple: Master, I feel drained. I have learned a great deal, but something is not right. I feel out of place. Out of sync with my surroundings. I feel uncomfortable.

Master: To obtain peace, your heart and mind must be in harmony.

Disciple: Yes, it is as though my mind is controlling my actions, but my heart is telling me that I don’t like it. What am I to do in this situation?

Master: Follow your heart. For it is from the heart where you find true happiness.

Disciple: But it is fearful. To drop everything, to let go, and simply follow my heart? It might be painful, and may be a great risk.

Master: Would it be as painful as living in an illusion created by your mind?

Disciple: Yes I understand what you mean. But in my mind at least I am planning ahead and accessing the risks. If I just follow my heart, it becomes the unknown; where I tread I do not know the outcome.

Master: It is where no one tread before, the unknown becomes the known. It is where the heart is tested for its wantings. It is where the truth beneath the veils of lies are revealed and the walls of ignorance can be taken down.

(Upon hearing this, after a long silence, tears swells up in the disciple’s eyes…)

Disciple: Master… I wish to experience the world… But…

(Master takes a brief look at the disciple, then narrows his eyes.)

Master: You can continue to be here listening to me, but one day you will only know what I know. If you leave you can gain other knowledge, and in the future become my Master, for I shall want to learn from you as well.

(Upon hearing this, the Disciple drops to his knees and bows to the Master…)

Disciple: You have given me the greatest lesson in life. For I now know the true quality of a Master that you are. You have shown me that arrogance has no purpose in one’s life. I shall be humble and learn from others as you have taught me. If one day I shall be a Master, I will strive to learn from others rather than feel proud or arrogant because of any knowledge I might have. I shall always seek for the unknown and follow my heart, rather than live an illusion of comfort or superiority created supposedly by my mind because of mastery of any limited subject.

The disciple bids farewell to his master and journeys onward to the path he is not familiar.

Woship!!

Recently I got my hands on one of the new Hillsong CD collection, which is Hillsong Kids with the title Super Strong God. All the songs in it were lead by Pastor Julia A'Bell along side with some Kids. The touching moment heat me when the songs entitle “Super Strong God” & “All I Need Is You/You Are My World” was being played… One could feel the present of God when the live recording was done, where KIDS sing their hearts out! Now I can only feel how older people feel when they here Youth worship the Lord. If you don’t believe me, you can go ask any FES worker or your church Youth pastor. One can see how proud they are when they see youth live their life for God!!

Lifting Up their hands

Looks like a youth concert to me!!I wish i could me like them!!

Point to ponder,

*How good is it if we could worship him with all our hearts!!

*would we sing prise to Him when we are in time of trouble?

*As we sing worship songs in church service or from the CD, do we understand what are we singing? Do we sing just because the music sounds good or because it is popular?

Convo... Here I Come!!

Hopping into the CF van as always, to go where no man has gone before, to explore new worlds and on our way to senior’s convocation!! (I’m a Star Trek fan ok…?) It was a miracle that we manage to make to USM Main Campus!! For me God really did show Himself to us who took the van to and from KKJ Campus!!

We declare:

Our God is an awesome God He reigns from Heaven above with wisdom, power, and love Our God is an awesome God!!

The journey to USM Main Campus was all but normal until we reach the toll to cross Penang Bridge so to cross over to the island, before the toll, the van experience engine failures!! Well, for me who was sitting behind, I wanted to complain about the poor driving skill Jason Ling because of the van die down several times as it was in a jam then. He pulled over to the side & we found out that the van was overheated!! There was smell of burn rubber in the air as Max open up the engine compartment (Smell like the smell burn rubber tires when you go up to Genting Highland) bluek*!!! Tension was in the air as it was 11:30am & we are late for the convocation!! After a short prayer to GOD (of cause lah… if not to Him, than to who??) we waited around 25 min and THANKS GOD, there came a “stand by” mechanic who was willing to help to fix the van!! Only we found out that the van’s radiator was empty. When he pored the water on the engine, it look as if we were making steamboat with the van’s engine (fuuiyyyyyooo.. The steam was WHITE!). Every thing was back to normal & we started rolling back on the road by 12pm sharp!!

Jason & Max Try to look "yeng"Thanks 2 this Uncle mechanic

Well we reach Main Campus safe & sound. Manage to meet up with some of our graduate seniors who looked very “Ying” in their graduation suits!! I meet up with Li Yee & her “kutip sampah” Gang… (kidding ya..) Wawawa!! Actually, they are serving the CF there in USM Main Campus as a community service!! Coo right?? When was the last time you were involved in a “gotong royong” project in your housing area? Or throw your own rubbish into the bin? This is what I call blessing the community! We had chat with each other (Dea..!). Of cause we introduce some of the CF member to them!! Really enjoying shearing each other’s experience since it has been some time after Camp Cameron especially those who went to Cam Camp with Max!! (Is a reunion for them.) BTW, we took more picture than those who graduate!!

Tun Shin With His Cool Suit
Me with some of the Camp Cam. Friends i meet there

This are the people who take more picture than the graduates there

We then head to Bukit Jambul shopping mall in Penang. Well we had bowling on the top floor but before that we hang around a hawker shop and we had our prayer meeting there!! (The 40days pray and fast for the nation) (All the uncle and aunties looking at us wandering what are they doing closing our eyes!!). Back to the bowling we had… I score the last against Jason Ling, Max, Christina & Derrick! Guess I can’t bowl!! (Hey, I lost so that I can bless others by letting them win.. right??!!). Wawawawaw…

Bowling, Max with his superb post, and me(last) with the bow going into the drain.

For some of us, our stomach was crying out for food as it was around 5pm+ because we are doing the prayer and fasting for the nation & we had a really light breakfast! Going for steamboat was a really appropriate thing to do!! (I eat a lot ok... You can’t see by my size right?? Wawawawaw… don’t judge a book by it’s cover!!). For those who have weight problem and can’t stop eating especially girls don’t be jealous ya! Wawawa!! Anyway we ate like we don’t eat for 10years. If you were there, you would feel as if you have gone back in time to the dinosaur age. Eating flash with no mercy (Hey.. of cause we cook 1st la!! I said already “AS IF” but we are all modern people, WE COOK to eat!! ok?). God was there with us although we ate with “no mercy”!! 1st, half way while we were steamboat-ing our food, bits of rain drop started poring down on us & the sky then was DARK!! Me, Aaron & some other started singing gospel songs with the intention that the rain may stop. God works wonder! The rain stop! We continue to eat like barbarians!! Wawaawa… was a great experience having free flow steamboat as we talk & talk since that is the only thing we can do after we are filled with seafood!! We spend our time there from 630pm until 1030pm!!

Well as you can see we are all exited at first!!
You can see 2 diffrent groups here, 1=those who are not full & "the keep eating group" 2=the "too full group & I've noting to do"I think this is cause bt too much food!

Left Penang island with singing and sleeping in the van!! Wawaawawa…!!!

I've been Tagged!!

i kene tagged, and i tag ppl..
and the rules are:

1. The tagged victim has to come up with 8 different points about his/her perfect lover
2. Has to mention the gender of his/her perfect lover.
3. Tag eight other victims to join this game and leave a comment on their blog.
4. If you are tagged the second time. There is NO need to do this again.
5. Lastly, most importantly, HAVE FUN DOING IT.

Alamak… What is this? Jocelyn tagged me!! For your information she also tagged Oliver, Shawn, Serene Lee, Kears & Sui Li if you readers wanna know…

Well how do I start? Ok... What kind/characteristic of my dream girl?? Umm….

1. Is not easy for me to say “She must be a Christian”, but the fact is I have to obey it. As you can see now days, most girls I’m around/know are in fact non Christian and it is easy for me to get attracted to them!! (Hey... I’m being honest ok!!). because I believe that goD is the centre of it all (as the song from Hillsong goes), no relationship will last if there is no God in it. Plus the relationship will divert from its original purpose (to satisfy the desire of our flash... the obvious is to have SEX) that God has for us, that is to glorify His name. I really hope God would help me to choose the right girl as I’m now very confuse in this matter of starting a relationship. Please do pray for me yap? Thanks!! (may drop comments ya!)

2. As 1st impression is important, hoping that she is pretty in my eyes. As the saying goes “Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder” (So sorry if I get a girl that is FAT or Skinny to you ya).

3. Hoping for her to be simple. I don’t mean that she can’t put on make-ups but, not those girls who put on make-ups to the Extreme. Those who buy lots of cloth for her self and never put it on at the end of the day (is it a fashion to BURN money...?)

4. Who is dynamic!! Wow… can be serious and funny at the right time. Knowing how to keep a balance between play time and work time!

5. Responsible. Dare to admit her wrong doing those can be seen or unseen. Keeping check on me, not afraid give advice or telling me if I do anything wrong.

6. Able to forgive. As I often make mistake, she will give me room to change.

7. Who don’t mind having me who have a lot of weaknesses compare to other guys out there as her life partner.

All of the above item (there are more of cause) are my hope that God will make it come true!! Only God know me the best (I don’t really know myself that well even). He would provide me with the best GIRL a.k.a. life partner… hehehe…

I’ve done my Job!!
