Singapore Trip 2.0 - Sentosa Island

2.0 means the second day we were in Singapore for our family vacation. Well we went to Sentosa Island where the Singapore government have turned it into a vacation sweet spot! It holds both historical and modern treasure for all waiting to be discovered!

First stop we visited Fort Siloso. It is a remain from the British era. It was place at the bank of the Singapore straight. In old times, it was a strategic point for traders as it is a good geographical position where ships are protected from storms. This port become busier as the Sues Cannel was open.

This fort was the place of two major agreements took place during the Second World War. First is the surrender of the British to the Japanese and the second is the surrender of the Japanese to the Allied.

Then we went to the 4D theater, the only one in South East Asia

Then we went to the beach and went to the supposedly the edge of the continent of Asia! We soon catch the Song Of The Sea! A water fountain show! One word for it.. It’s Massive!!

Singapore Trip 1.2

The things that get me fascinated in life is science! So the 2nd part of the trip is the journey to the Singapore Science Centre. This place is one of my favourite places in Singapore; it gave me good expression the last time I was here. To go out topic, the last time I was here was when I was 10 years old! It ha really change, the entrance and the structure itself project futuristic and science fiction like to help visitors to anticipate what scientific treasure that lies within its wall. I myself was trill and was sucked into the pool of trill, even at this age!

Yeah!!

I got to see the see an experiment that was carried out then and it was the tesla test. Where high voltage electricity flow through the air causing friction with the air molecule and hence creates the effect that we call lightning! Cool!!

Science's Light..

Me and my lovely sis..

Mum... Close your ears..

Lightning??!

Optical Illusion

After the Science Centre trip we went to our check into our hotel room that was situated close to the city. Anyway we took the MRT there and a new word I learn from visiting Singapore is the word “Alight”! That night after everything, we took a walk and were surprise to see Christmas carolling was being performed for the masses in front of a mall! We sure won’t see this in Malaysia, not in public for sure. Jesus’ name can be seen every where to tell of his birth and his purpose on earth. Very different in Malaysia, it is Santa and his gang and no Jesus..
