Picture That Worth Thousands

Going back to campus was an emotional time for me personally. Yes you heard me say emotionally! It brought back memories some good and some not so good so to speak. But the amazing thing is that He turn it into something that works for his purpose for His people. Time just pass by so fast and people grow in the process! This kidoos, during their young age were really active but with the LOVE and care and God's grace on the family, they are now obedient (well as kids not all the time but still..)

This picture was one of the most touching onces that God allow me to capture it! I never notice how personal it become to me as I review my picture taken for the past week! Kiss composition and all the photography stuff goodbye!

On a different note, a friend told me "this you have to asked yourself!" when I told him working is not easy and I'm facing human issues. It just suddenly hit me that I'm too out spoken! Some people might like it but others, not into it! Well another stage has just started, may be will try golf! YES golf! Hahhaa...

Camp after camp!!

A week has pass since my last update. It is very adventurous journey the two week it has been. I went to a missionary camp which is conducted fully in mandarin! For me it will surely been a huge challenge to listen and to pick up. The camp comprises mostly sharing by missionary about their mission field work experience. How they got into missionary works and how god has helped them to conquer and to overcome uneasiness.

In this camp, it also helps me to redefine the whole idea of the word “extreme”. This missionary gave up their life for God and put others behind even if it is their family. “To honour our parents” and at the same time “putting Jesus first in everything” how can I find a common ground for this? It was a blessing for me to get this exposure to missionary works in this camp. It gave me a conformation that urgency to spread the Good News to others. As we work at day, when night comes all work shell stop.

Oops.. Did I say, the camp had close to 1000 campers while another 50 or so could not make it due to some implications? The cost for this camp is RM 300,000 without airline expenses of the missionary to be in this camp while we campers pay RM180!

After mission camp, me and Ann Nee went back up to Penang to attend another camp. Ann Nee’s church’s children camp. It was a shock to me as it has been awhile I’m been around with kids of young ages. I was designated as a helper in the camp to assist teacher Ann Nee. Our group’s name is Group Samuel. To another surprise, this camp is completely conducted in mandarin. Thus, this is a complete new experience as I’m a new person in this place.

The people I know are less than a hand full! It’s a scary experience, but Ann Nee did a great job and she helped me to know new people. At the end of the camp, I felt that this are people who are very good to work with and each has contribute to the camp thus covering up each other each of us fall short!

Kids just love water!

Back to the topic, though it might be a children camp. It has spoke to me in a way as a grown up! Surely, His word cuts through hearts and minds! By the way, the theme for this camp is Super Hero!! Hahah… This children camp only cost RM50. For city dwellers it may be a small amount but for those people who can’t effort it, with RM50 it is a week living for their family and their children. Even the camp fees at such a low price, but the food is out standing and the trip to Taiping Zoo, a t-shirt and a bag, it’s just don’t make sense but God made it come through.

Oh another thing, I enjoy eating the left over by the children after each meal!! Wawaawawa...

Surprise After Surprise..

Took a trip to church yesterday to meet up with Iggy there. Suppose to go from lunch but I overslept and end up in church at around 3pm. Transfer over the 30th Church Anniversary and till then some thing unexpected happens. He pop up his unused HP iPAQ h5450!! Was totally unexpected! Thanks to you Iggy.

While as I thought the surprise ended, well it has not. I went to Sepang with my brother to watch the A1 Race qualifying round. He got the tickets for free as the price was RM100 per person. I took my 10-22mm to the test. And I found out that the picture, colour and sharpness was surprisingly good.

With all this surprise back to back. I was constantly reminded of how gracious God is to me. As I give my all in serving Him, he will give the best to provide me. One thing I struggle now is that to carry myself well. It is those time when I’m alone that I want to give and present myself well to Him. My devotional life have been up and down since after my body clock went wild.

God teach me to be like You. I want to be the best I can where no one is around and no one is looking. Those are the times where I want to sully worship you. Apart in serving you in the eyes of people by offering my strengths. But let my personal life excel in your name and glorify you!

Thank you for everything!
