WhAt A WeEK

Wow... This week has been a hectic for me as I have attend 2 different orientation program 1 for the Palapes & for the campus's CF welcoming night & exhibition week.

This is the 1st time I am having juniors, in other words I will be called a senior. It might sound wired to some of you. In church or in 2ndnary School I never acted or even called a senior. I don't really fit well in the seniority system because I don’t act like a senior and 2nd I do like to mix around the young people or juniors compare to those who is older.

Orientation night for Palapes.

I don't really like it because I fell it is time wasting. Because I spend most of my time waiting. But it is not all bad apples, we had LDK (latihan dalam kumpulan). The group in charge gave the junior some time to know each other. Then he tough them about how to manage their time on their studies & training. I didn't get the time to spend with the exhibition team & time for myself (most of all the time with God)

CF Welcoming night.

Well it was a relief night for me from the buzz of life. There were few new faces that were present that night! The night began with worship that was lead my Simon Chai. I really enjoyed the worship session then. I felt the

present of God was there. I found my weakness during the games time, guess what I'm scared of balloon (please don't burst the balloon in front of me k?). Anyhow in my group I manage to meet new juniors & get to know them more... (not just only girls la). Yap.. Back to our game. It is fun butnot boring.. Of cause. It was

lead by Wai Loon & his helpers... The food was not bad! Considering I was one of the last people to get my mouth filled where all the good stuff in the food was taken!

The Dance.

Me, Jinny, Aaron, Jason, E-Way & Christina did a dance for the welcoming night. We had the practice half a week before the actual day. 1st time I tried up the dance I felt like quitting it caused it is very-very hard! Then I realize that I'm a type of person who avoid thing that are hard to execute. Glory to God alone! He helped me to overcome this problem. After the 3rd practice we had, I enjoyed the dance & by then I really looking forward. During that day when we did the dance (which I'm really looking forward to) I did my best and really happy because the hall in KCK1 shared a laugh or two resulting from my mistake. Thanksgiving to God alone!

This week is really a busy week for me as I only get to sleep at night. By sleeping early, I was expected to wake up early. But no! I always wake up 15minute before class starts! Really struggle to manage my time. As from my previous post I said starting the day off with a prayer & taking breakfast is vital. Really hope God will make a way for me!

Umm.... After the week I ate a good dinner of duck mee.... Umm...

Durian Runtuh! – Breakfast First!

The starting of the semester did not start with what I've expected. Why I titled this blog is because in my whole life this is the 1st time I fainted during my Palapes training! Well the experience of fainting is not fun at all for me as I fainted in front of my junior intake! What a shame! As I have advanced into a higher rank in the Palapes hierarchy so as the same goes for my fitness level!

The 1st thing that I experience during my black out was I cannot control my movement, not even opening my eyes. I tried very hard to gain control but I just can't. What my friends told me is that I fell to the ground very slowly, by sitting on the ground & then lying on it. They thought that I was playing a fool out of them. They thought so because both of my eyes were opened widely. But come to think of that moment, I can't even remember looking up into the blue sky that was above of me. From what I think is that my mind restarted its system. The only thing I was able to do then was to listen & to feel the buzz of my fellow friend who tried to help my by carrying me to a shaded area where I could rest and regain my consciousness. One of my friends who helped me up told me that my body was very soft, it was as if my bones were broken.

After 1 minute or so I regained my sight. Then I can't even sit straight but to lay down! It took me around 30minute to be able to stand up straight & 1day to recover fully to my normal state!

The possible answer to this is that I missed my lunch & breakfast! In addition to that is that during the holidays I was too lazy to work out or to stay fit but to sit around doing nothing but sleep, eat & more. This goes same to my Christian life where by I don’t read the bible nor even have a little bit of time to spend with God. And at times I do get spiritual black outs! Some of those examples are like giving into sin and at times I even balm Him for the mishaps that happened to me.

While in Rom 8:28 say that all things that is happening & has happen, good or bad, all things worked in the good of His people! He has been & forever will be the same! If we don’t study His word, talk to Him & trust Him, we will forever just carry the name 'Christian' only! Plus we will be easily subjected to the attack of the Satan!

Take your early breakfast on the WORD OF GOD before we face the world!! As his Word promises a hold lot more the world could ever offer us.

New SEmester in Campus!!

After attending church to day, I went home & load all my stuff in the car. Well it’s sad to go back to campus because I'm too used to the holidays given (3 month). During the holidays i joined the FES Camp Cam. In Cameron Highlands, joint the church youth to visit the MV Doulos in Port Kelang, joined the youth combined, home group & much more! There were the moments. Well I reached my campus around 4pm, and got my room key. My new room is located at the ground floor. One could see my bed the 1st thing when they open the door. I consider it as a blessing from God. Why you might ask. Because I don't want to be too “alone” as it well temp me to do other unwholesome things! Happy in a way that God has answered my prayer! There's still a long way ahead of me in this semester. I got a really bad result this semester, but if I still don't do well this semester, I'll be kicked out from university for good. Come to think about it, I would 'pull my Mother's face' like what Chinese people would say.

MV Doulos Trip

Today morning I had to wake up at 730am just because I joint the youth outing to MV Doulos. 1st it though it will be boring since most of the youth of my age didn’t go. Never mind that… well me got together at church around 830am. Well, I was not the last person to get there…. Well “Perempuan Tak malu” and her sis came the last…. (May be girls put up their makeup or just wake up late). Well I’m happy for them… ha-ha… On the way to the sea pot, we had the game of “pass the message” and some telling of jokes…. I can tell you I really enjoyed all the way there… The bus was never silence except during prayer….

When we got to the ship, I found out that the books there they sell are very-very cheap!!! As low as RM8. I got an application bible for just RM30++ while the price in normal shop is around RM80. it was very hot on the platform were they sell the books when we 1st got there, then around 12noon people started to flood the place making it even hotter!! Anyway, I got 3 CDs for RM2 each sang by the group Delirious. But there is just 3 to 4 songs in a each CD la…. We were then treated to a program done by the Doulos crew member. In it their share their experiences on Doulos, the place the visit and how God has bless them in many way and blessing other people in the world as the ship travel around the world. Most of the crew are just age around 19 to early 20s!!! Very young!! (Of cause got pretty girls la).

On our way back to RCKL we stop by a food court for our lunch. Guess what, most of the hawkers are not open. But we still enjoy then because we had a time of fellowship there.

I felt that I’m blessed by God by just able to be in this trip… Because nothing happen by chances but by the grace of God.

After that me and Zi Xiang went to the FES office in PJ together with G.mah Li Moi. The office is a bit small but very COOL!!

New ToY

This week I got my new toy (actually is 3rd hand)… The 02 XDA that I got from Kav. Puah last Sunday!! It has a faulty touch serene and a not so good looking body. Well any of that don’t bother me much. Well most of you may be saying why buy?? Well this is the 1st time having to own and try out a PDA phone (I’m still using my N-gage as my phone). After 5days of using it I find it very useful for people like me who keep forgetting stuff.

The 1st thing after setting the XDA is that I went online to look for programmes and themes for it. Well I’m very happy that I didn’t buy Plam Zire 74 last time. There so many options to choose for as this PDA runs on Windows Mobile Pocket PC 2002!!

For those using PPC 2002 and above, there is a e-bible for free download!! It comes with dictionaries and commentary.
