Well as most may know, I’m into photography… Thus I just purchase a 2nd hand camera from my friend Ernest. The Canon PowerShort G3. Well after experiencing with the camera, I really hope for a higher capability camera. But it is beyond my reach!! I must spend RM6K-7K to get the whole set complete!!

The world of photography just open up for me when I found FlickR. It helped me in extending my ideas no the world of photography. This blog was originally to post my picture and tell you people about my world through my picture…… but it end up…..

A place where I could share my picture with every one!! A place where I can find people with the same passion.

Family Camp ‘06

Thanks to God who made this camp a success where He has shown himself to us all his mercy, grace and His perfect will for us if we only willing to follow Him and carry the cross!!

Well it took me some time to figure what to write on this subject after I came back from camp. This was a 3 days 2night camp which is situated at Malaysia’s 2nd tallest mountain, Bukit Larut a.k.a. Maxwell Hill. Some of the committee of the camp didn’t get to sleep as early as their usual time as to finalise the camp’s every detail. Of cause except for Derrick who is use to sleep at 5-6am at night!! Amazing it sounds most of us did manage to wake up for the 9am class except for Sui Ying!!

Anyway after having our usual Friday prayer meeting at café Lembaran & had our lunch. The bus was there to pick us up! Wawawa… God was really there, no 1 was left behind, not even Nicholas Saw who was delay because of his class. It’s true in the bible when it says God will not leave even 1 soul to get perish. The journey there for most is kind of boring because there were only 24 of us in the bus and the rest on the van. It was a good time for most to get the sleep they need before we start our camp!!

After a 1 hour bus ride to from campus we reach the foothill. Well, right always we were ask to put our stuff on the back of the jeep. For some who don’t know Maxwell hill has 72 sharp turns. I can tell you, the drivers are really skilled, every turns they execute with precision for the speed they were driving at. The driver who I was talking to on the way up was a very kind person who kindly shears his knowledge to us all!! Well half an hour us was not there is, a 5 minute hike up to “The Nest” which is the camp site to complete our journey.

I also learn some photography skill from Uncle Chun Chong who is a pro in this area!! Thanks You!!!

The food for all the 3days of our camp rock!! Better then the food that you could find in campus!! Wawawa….

Reading the bible is not an easy thing for me as I keep fails to turn up on a date with God every morning and before I sleep. This camp also really taught me how to share my burden with other people. As those who know me will know what I’m talking about!! Wawawa… It’s not easy for me to do so as I’m used to this kind of lifestyle!! I’m learning to be the best in what I have and doing the best for God in everything that I’m doing…. Lagi-lagi my studies!! Wawawawa….. At times I might look very happy but there is hurt in me that I’m not willing to let go… Thanks God for this Camp which I name this experience as a Reminder!! As I have learn this thing from the previous camp but I didn’t follow it!! It’s a calling to go back to God for me.

As I was back in campus, I down with fever!! Well to date it turns on and off and on again!! Don’t know when it will end!! Feel like flying every time when I walk!! Wawawawaw…. Anyway thanks to all the people who joint this camp and I pray that all of you will not just take this camp as a normal camp but as a turning point in life to be right with God again!!

With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility

Last weekend, the package my father send to me containing a digital camera that I bought from Ernest deliver by DHL arrive on my hand (*few…. That was some mouth full….). I’m thankful 1st to my father who send me the camera which cost him RM100 to do so, thanks to Bernard who send the charger to my house and not forgetting The Father in Heaven who let me have this camera!! The reason for the rush to get the camera is because the CF Family Camp in Maxwell Hill is on the coming weekend.

During my PALAPES break time,
I rip open the seal to the package and took the camera out for a try!! Well… like what they say in the movie Spiderman “with great power, comes great responsibility”. Well I got to work up on the manual controls of the camera so to get the “feel”.

This is the camera that I got… The Canon G3!!

Sui Ying's House.

Some week ago, me & Aaron had the chance to visit Sui Ying’s house in Penang Island (Where else??). Anyway we followed her back to her house because she wanted to return her car for some reason.

Knowing Penang Island is a small and pack area, it was suprising to me to find a nice house sitting on the hillside (something like those house you would find in Bangsar KL with split level houses). At 1st glance of the house the only thing I could say is Wow!!! That is before I went in her house!! Really nice house she has, those house that I wanted in the future (ok.. by this time she would say “is not my house”…. Technically is her dad’s la….)

When we went in, it feels really like home!! The feeling of togetherness and unity among family members were there!! How I wish my house back in KL would be like this… Sad to say my house is full of books. School books!!!

Anyway we went back with Christina to campus after we had done some shopping for Yen Wai’s birthday present.

This is the living hall

Compare to the house’s living hall. See the different??

Well Aaron with his “wow” look.
