Fuel price increase..
Ever since the 4th June when the government took the step to increase the oil price in
Well I’m not here to give a political talk but just want to share what is in my mind. Like all Malaysian, we were al shocked to hear the increase and it is not the normal increase but we now have to pay the price of RM2.70 per litre.
Here I share to you what is pro and the cons of the price increase
Pro
Hey if this effort is help to reduce the emission of green house gases that will contribute to global worming. Another thing is that, it is true that the oil reserves in the world are depleting this it will help to slow the use and thus lessen the waste of oil usage.
Cons
What about people who is living below the poverty line? Even I’m having tight pockets when I go the patrol station! Is the amount rebate back by the government sufficient to cover the expenses? I guess no, but fir those who don’t use the car, they might actually earn from this each time they pay their road tax.
Ether way, if this profit goes to the pockets of the governments themselves, all are just in vane!!
The government should not face any difficulties since our country is an oil exporting country. Knowing the facts that the quality of crude oil that the countries produce are consider to be one of the finest in the world due to it’s less contaminated and pure. That is why we don’t use our own patrol as it yields higher profits. This high quality crude all are more valuable than to be use as patrol to fuel cars thus it is send to be process for better use. In other words, our income generated by the country should be more expensive compare to the world market.
Just a though…
Maybe you can ask ur dad who works in Petronas for his opinion since the CEO claims Petronas is generating low profits...
Just a thought...
