evangelistic = everyting ?

On Thursday a pastor asked me, "evangelistic is EVERYTHING!!" after I forwarded a question regarding the purpose of evangelistic event as such "what do you mean by evangelistic? Is it sharing or is I..."

Noted I put "!" after the pastor finished the sentence in giving me an impression of "dah.. Don’t you know??" and I didn’t not finish my sentence as the pastor began to start to speak out.

Evangelistic means in Christianity is a process* of spreading the gospel and the good news throughout the earth. I’m not sure about the "process" please tell me if I’m wrong..

Anyway evangelism is through words, worship/singing, social awareness, being the active agent in mission place (the place around us).. My question is mainly base on, if you want to have an evangelistic meeting, what will be your focus on? Is it through word, through songs or is it through fellowship??

Most time in the meeting, I just wonder, why I was there if they got things figure out? Can’t they give the new guy a chance and to understand him? Well, for this case, it is sad ending.

This is a point to ponder.

If a church just do annual evangelistic and care less about the community that the church is into, that what is it for? I believe some churches don’t sponsor its own activity, and if they don’t do that, what are you going to expect if you are from an NGO asking for financial aid from them?
